I want to book my reward flight back home for Jan 10th (ish) next year.

We are out of Heathrow to Miami on 21st Dec then two weeks in Key West, knowing that Miami is a bit of a no no for G's until 15th or after I need to decide where to fly back from. I need to know Miami will get me to where I want to fly home from.

My choices most likely will be ( I think )

SFO,LAX or New York.

Where is best to spend a few days from 6th to 10th and more importantly for my other half which has the best UCS experience to fly home from.

Thanks in advance.[y]

First tip:

Get your hotels booked fast, and I'd suggest Priceline for starters. Manhattan is NOT a cheap place to stay - EVER... After New Year's, it'll be cheap(er), but still high.

Transfers to/from the airport are not cheap either...

Thanks, will get my act together. Want to stay at Madarin Oriental or Waldorf. Money saved on flights will go towards that.

You'll have a fab time in NYC whenever you go but Jan will be very cold so you'll need to prepare !

As for hotels give expedia a look to get some baseline prices as well as hotwire too.

I have a list of hints and tips I've done for other people that I will upda after my trip next month. I'll send it on to you then !

The guidebook I recommend is the Unofficial Guide to New York City - ISBN - 0-471-76396-9
