Hi Alan - after posting this would you mind checking my flight, (and if possible a bit nearer the time.)

It the 10 th Jan to TAB

Cheers !

Hello, would you know if the LGW suite refits going to plan?

G-VROY was due in for a refit on the 18th Nov but was still being used on the 22nd Nov flight VS030 would this mean then that it is slightly behind schedule?

It’s just that I’m a little bit anxious as I will be off to TAB on the 10th Jan. I was told that it was in the new configuration. I don’t want to get my hopes up too much so I would rather know now if it’s looking more like a non suite flight. I’m coming back from BGI in PE and was wondering if it likely to be a Heathrow 747 if these are still being used at that time.

Cheers

Well, don't forget that G-VTOP got pranged by some sort of ground truck (catering or cleaning vehicle) over at Heathrow. The collision damaged the outer skin of the aircraft, rendering it out of traffic.

That resulted in the rapid recall of the Heathrow 744 (G-VWOW, I think) which was "on-loan" to Gatwick, covering for being an aircraft down.

I think OP is still out of service, and I'm guessing that until that aircraft is back from repairs in Dublin, the next LGW conversion is being held back.

Cheers,
Mike

ROS and GAL are fitted with UCS now.

LIP is currently being fitted and should be back in service on 7th December.

WOW is based at LGW while LGW400 get suites, it had nothing to do with the LHR 400 getting damaged a few weeks ago.

WOW is operating selected flights to BGI/ANU/UVF.

LIP will should be the last one refitted before christmas.
