Looks like you have to be a registered member to view the topic.

Any chance of a one line summary, without any copyright breach, please Vrocking?

V Strange, sometimes it works...sometimes it doesnt.

Anyways, on to a summary:

> SRB flew into SYD today to launch plans to start an international airline down under, to rival Qantas.

> He wants the airline to concentrate on the Japanese, Chinese and American Market. Especially to lucrative SYD-LAX route.

> He hopes the airline can be off the ground in nine months.

> It could be incorporated in to Virgin Blue, but he is keen to introduce a new airline.

> He hopes the Australian government will look upon an 2nd autralian carrier favourably, over carriers like SQ when handing out rights for SYD-LAX.

In the mean time I will look for another link....

EDIT - A link to another article:

Hopefully this one works...

Not surprised SRB wants to do it separately from Virgin Blue after the recent battles there and the way the ownership issue has gone.
