Hi Guys

I still havent had my tier points and miles credited for my SQ flights, how long do you think i should leave it before making a claim?

I read here that it should take about 7 days for the points to appear? My first SQ flight was on the 28th June, so i really should have had something by now. I gave the FC Cards in a check-in for each flight and all check-in agents said the number was already on the booking (as i had hoped) so i couldnt see the problem. I have had the MAZ miles and TP credited so i know the system works.

What do you think i should do?

I still have all the boarding pass stubs and the booking emails. The VS website says not to make a claim until 6 weeks after the flight, so i wasnt sure if there was anything they could do if i called them up with an enquiry? (as in whether they can see any activity for those flights?)

Just call FC.

If they can see it "in the system", then great - they can probably sort it on the phone.

If not, send those BP's in.

Sarah

From what I remember, my SQ flights took around 7 - 10 days to be credited to my FC account.

When the SQ flights did appaear, they all appeared at once as well, all except 1 flight (my very last SQ flight), which took a further week for some reason.

Thanks guys!

Just called FC and the guy told me that they cant check the computer for SQ flights, he said they only sow when we see them, so advised me to send in the boarding pass stubs. Wonder if i get them back if i ask? I kind of wanted to keep them as a memento of my trip. Guess i could always ask and wait and see - or tell them to return them to me with my FC Gold pack!!

Sarah,
Give it another week as you have 76 days to your NY trip!

On my long weekend to SIN I had most of my miles within a week.

One Flight was missing (as there was a typo on my expedia tickets FF number)

I faxed the e-ticket (and BP) to VS on 08701904433

Another few weeks went by and I chased via FC (and was then credited within a few mins)

So in a netshell wait a week/fax and chase a week or so later; (Assuming you need to)
I'd explain that your sorry to be a pain but you need your gold card for an upcomming VS trip.

They are usually very good at sorting this stuff out!

Glad to hear it's on the way to be sorted out!

I'm having similar trouble getting miles from my EK flights to SYD and back credited to my Continental OnePass account! It's a nightmare!

Chris

I guess its a game of chase ...

I called FC today and the lovely girl i spoke to apologised and said 'oh yes, we have your fax here but nobody has looked at it yet" She promises to have it done by Friday ... so fingers crossed!!

In the meantime i will keep checking my account and keep holding my breath LOL :D

I also found it strange that SQ does not print our VS FC number on the boarding pass. However after 10 days points appeared in FC account. Hope everything works out for you.
