Virgin Car rental supplier

I've just been having a look at car rental costs on the virgin/virgin holidays site. I notice looking at 2009 'Dollar' is the supplier (as expected). Yet, when I look at Aug 2010 it is 'Alamo'. Anyone know if there has been a change of 'allegiance'?

Definately changing to Alamo in the summer.

I find this news quite strange bearing in mind the HUGE organisations for Dollar/VS/VH partnerships at various US locations. In particular, I have seen the partnership Dollar desk at MCO manned by 8 or so operatives at peak times.

Oh, you mean a la MBNA 'AMEX' and Mastercard? [:w]

Have always found Alamo to be far better than Dollar every time I have used them.
