I think everywhere in Las Vegas is doing 'good deals' at the moment. We're staying at THE hotel, which has the advantages of being non gambling (no constant chink-chink-chink noises) At THE hotel, the V-suites ($129 on special) are as big as the Venetian Rialto suites. The offer that Slipperman talks about are for the 'Luxury'(Vegas word meaning small) suites

?? V Suite and TheSuite rooms at TheHotel are just over 700sq ft, a smidgen larger than the Venetian 'standard' suite. (Rialtos are usually around 1150 sqft). Don't get me wrong though I do like the Mandalay.

..and I know Vegas has good deals at the moment, I just thought I'd point one out.

Thanks for the pointer, every little thing can help.

One little thing to know, for those priceline bidders, the Venetian is one of the 5 star hotels that can be had on there.

The Wynn has also been appearing regularly of late again on priceline. The only problem with using priceline is that The Trump is also in the same category as the Wynn and Venetian (5* North Strip) so sometimes better to use Hotwire (if you want to avoid The Trump) as you can 'usually' identify The Trump pretty easily.

DragonLady thanks for the tip re the Wynn and hotwire. Bagged a room in June for $108 a night. The secret to identifying seems to be the number of tripadvisor reviews!
