Can I change the date on a reward ticket?

Hi all,

I am off to Ulusaba at the end of the month for my honeymoon. So far I have my inbound flight from JNB-LHR booked (using miles) I have the Federal Air flights and the accommodation booked also.

What I have not yet booked is the outbound flight from LHR-JNB!! I want to fly out on the 30th but at the moment there is only reward availability on the 28th. I am considering booking the flight on the 28th (and staying at a hotel in JNB) but I wanted to know if I book it for the 28th and then reward availability comes up on the 30th can I change the ticket for that date instead?

It did say you could make changes for 25 but I wasn't sure if that meant date changes?

Yes you can do date changes for 25 per person providing there is reward availability on the new date you want to change to.

Yes you can and I know for certain because we did just that. We were charged - 50 I think - but can't quite remember how much.
