Hey guys,

I'm on the VS045 LHR-JFK on 9 May, I'm also in Upper but it looks like theres only around 10 of us in there at the moment(if that). I dont know what the yield is at the back of the plane but does anyone reckon this flight could be pulled from schedule due to light loads?

Cheers

Pete

According to expertflyer, the seat map is showing about 65% full at the back.

Firstly, it's still a while till 9 May and things can change ... including for the better or more reassuring.

All three JFK flights that day have straight 7s and therefore plenty of availability. The VS9 in particular looks virtually empty but the VS3 and VS45 are 50%+ full in Y so if any merging happens, it may be the VS9 into the VS45 ...

I'd keep an eye out for updates if I were you.

It is also important to take in to account how busy the return flight is going to be. Whilst it might be light for the outbound, if the inbound is full then it still makes sense to operate.

Also JFK flights have a lot of last minute bookings due to people on business trips.

I had a similar concern before booking a LHR-IAD-LHR trip for May. The Upper Class cabin had no assigned seats at all for the outbound flight & I was therefore a little dodgy about booking for fear of the flight being pulled.

However I looked at the loads down the back & PE is about 75% full & Y about 98% full. So that allayed by fears & I booked.

So there is one lonely figure shown on the seat map now in UC on the outbound flight.. me [:)]

Believe me - flights to and fro IAD are a fairly safe bet of not being CX [|:)]
