I have seen and read the topic on 'Is one gold card the same as any other', but was wondering if any gold gard members had been invited to anything this year, or new of anything coming up. Last year I got an invite to the Aquada channel crossing and the Party at SRBs house in Oxford. Nothing so far this year, and I wonder if it to do with the fact that I do not have enough point at the moment to re-qualify. That should change shortly as I have just booked and pair for flied with enough tier points to re-qualify (Too many BA flights this year[xx(]). I also got invites to other things last year that I couldn't attend that I can't immediately think of.

I wonder if they view your account as a family account? could explain things, can I ask how many tier points you have between you?

Don't really know as they don't show TPs on line anymore. We're both over requalified before our year end and have bookings made to requalify pretty much for next year already.

So once you requalify each year do they not tell you how many you are over. For example mine is reading that I need 8 point to requalify.

Correct.

The only way of finding out is to view your statement, tell it to display transactions from the "Last 12 months", and add them up.

(Excel copy+paste is an easy alternative to a calculator...!)

Got the babbington house thing, and something earlier in the year up in london, but I can't remember for the life of me what it was. Still waiting for the invitation to SRB's private yacht[:(] (although Bazz's invitation to his Steamer on the Thames was in fact far more socially desirable and appreciated:D)
