Hi all,

On saturday (4th april) I'm flying to LA with my family in UC, and it is my brothers birthday. I wanted to order some chocolates to be delivered to him onboard as a present, but I completely forgot about it until now. I just checked the Virgin website about ordering him some, but I seem to have fallen upon some conflicting information (unless I am just reading it all wrong):

'If you'd like to take advantage of this service we require a minimum of 7 days notice.

This service is available to passengers on all flights (except VS200/201) providing a minimum of 96 hours notice is given. Please note lines are closed during weekends and UK public holidays.'

If it's 96 hours then I should be okay and can order on monday when the lines open, but if it's seven days then I have missed the opportunity.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm really kicking myself for leaving it this long.

Thanks guys,

Lorelai.

In August 2007 we flew to Boston the Saturday after my daughter's O Level results. Not wanting to jinx the results I left ordering a cake until the Thursday afternoon after I got 'the call' and had no problems in making the arrangements.

I agree the website is a bit confusing. The best thing to do would be to give VS a call, they will be able to either clarify when the latest you can order is, or do it there and then over the phone.

I just rang up today and managed to organise it all - the lady on the phone was lovely and she said that its 7 days for Manchester flights but from LHR it's fine. Good result. Thanks for all your help.
