Anyone know why VS6 departed MIA yesterday 'on time' but landed LHR today 2 hours late?

Headwinds or delays at LHR is my guess.
Hmmmm ..... Yesterday's BA206 departing MIA before VS6 arrived LHR on time, & BA208 after VS6 was only 20 minutes late.
Is it my imagination or are 744 LHR-MIA-LHR flights significantly less punctual than 346?
I suppose VS6 delay may have arisen between on-time push back and take-off.

Well, BAA Heathrow showed the VS006 as diverted earlier today, but there was fog at LHR this morning reportedly causing problems so I'd guess it was that and nothing more sinister / symptomatic of a MIA_LHR problem!
There's a plane at JFK, to fly you back from far away
all those dark and frantic transatlantic miles

At one stage on the BAA website it was shown as 'Diverted' but the VS website only had it down as a couple of hours late.
I wonder if there was something happening at LHR as a lot of flights seemed to be late this morning and the EI flight from Cork went out over an hour and a quarter late

Are you sure you are not confusing it with the flight on 11 April as reported here

Goodness me! Halifax twice in just over a week. They'll have to put it on the route map soon! [:0]
Still, it explains the 'Diverted' status on the BAA website

That is weird ... now, I don't think I'll be flying MIA-LHR for the third strike [:0]!
