Hi all,

Although for this year's jaunt we're flying out UC (via SFO), at the time of booking we decided to opt for PE on the return flight from LAS - LGW. Now we've decided we'd like to splash out for UC on the return, happy to pay for it. The trip was booked through VH so I've spoken to them to ask if we can upgrade. They say they have no more UC allocation but perhaps on the day we could ask for an upgrade and see what price they offer? Fair enough, understand that VH only have a certain seat allocation on each VS flight, but what do people reckon the chances are of there being two spare suites on VS044 on Fri 23/9 that they would offer up to cash upgraders like us? My feeling is probably not much chance, what with it being an LGW config 747! [?]

With only 14 seats in J class you need a quiet flight I'd say
I'd call FC for advice too also check the load on the availity tool!!

Good luck

If you get to Check-in early and there happens to be 2 seats left, they're yours (providing no one else has paid for an upgrade). As you say there isn't much chance on an LGW config, but the end of september tends to be a quiet time so you never know;). Godd luck[y].

Edit: I just looked at the seatmap and unfortunately UC is full, but then again they always show the exit rows as occupied when they may not be.

I'm not sure availability is going to be your biggest problem at the airport. Getting an H fare upgraded to Upper is probably your biggest hurdle... [:0][B)]

It's not a problem with cash

There's no seats left in UC or Premium on that flight. There is however a few seats left in economy.

I always find that UC/Premium on the Vegas route is usually full due to newlyweds/gamblers etc;)

Yes. Still sold out LAS/LGW. But if you're willing to route via LAX there's looking like a seat or two on the VS8 and more on the VS24 in both J and S.
