Ahh well, wanted to treat myself, last year I picked up a little something Cartier, I wanted an LV bag this time. Can't think of anything Gucci or MB that I need.
Louis Vuitton is one of the few brands in the world that a) owns all their own stores, i.e. does not franchise, b) has no discount mall outlets in the world, and c) has no airport duty free shops anywhere.
I often think this is a very smart strategy.
Sorry egg, you won't find LV in any outlet at Heathrow.
However, I am going to their Christmas Party in Bond Street this coming Thursday, something could fall off a shelf [:w]!
There's a plane at JFK, to fly you back from far away all those dark and frantic transatlantic miles

Need? [}:)]EGG you're starting to sound like Mr DL [:0][:0] Since whence did one 'need' life's adorable trinkets ?? (be they Gucci, MB, Cartier etc). Life is too short.[:D][:D]. Go spend [:D].Bal Harbour ( a few miles north of SB Miami) has some nice shops to relieve you of your (very) hard earned cash [:D][:D]. DL

Going to London the night before so might nip to Bond street and pick something up, enjoy the party[y]
Could just buy what I want from the website but how boring is that, should have just bought the thing I wanted whilst in Manchester.

I was not meaning I was going to gatecrash the party[:o)]I am sure Cartier are very strict with invites, I hope you enjoy your bubbly, they very kindly sent me some for my birthday.
Sure with you being such a high end member of society ( you seem to frequently give that impression ) you must get oodles of posh invites, good luck to you and enjoy. I admire success rather than resent it.

Was in the one on Fifth Avenue on Saturday - look out for it, it's a good 'in.
Have a great trip, it was cold last week but the snow held off, I think there was some forecast for this ...
