Close, but no booking...yet

In defence of Caesars they have just opened a new tower which has all the latest stuff including flat screen tvs etc.. I must agree that until recently the outside was a real dump but with all the building finished (I don't think they phsyically have any more land to build on) it now looks very smart and makes you want to go in and have a good look round.

I cannot believe this....!!! After all the hoo-ha with the Virgin request for extra allocation at the Mandalay Bay being declined, one of the sales consultants called last night to tell me that the request had actually now been granted. [:0] So, we'd gone through the grief of picking another hotel from the 5 star ones in the brochure (Bellagio was the final choice) and now they have said that they have to change it back to the Mandalay as that's the one on the fixed tour [:(!]. Virgin Holidays will take off the cost of the holiday the extra money we would have paid to stay at the Bellagio and it will all be as it should have been. What a load of [:o)]. I think next time we might stray away from the package deals and just book flights and do the rest separately. At least then I'll get to use my miles and may even have enough to get into Posh Class with the rest of you lot!

I have not booked a package holiday for over 10 years. I have never seen the benefit. They are more often the same price or more expensive than booking yourself and when everything goes wrong the reps are usually rubbish.

I, and I am sure many others on this board, would be more than happy to put together a 'package' for you if you wanted.
