C.C. companion ticket

Hi,
Can someone tell me if you can give a C.C. companion ticket to someone, or does it have to be the card holder travelling?

It can be issued for anyone, against anyone else's (valid) ticket.

The only restriction is that it needs to be "requested" by either you, yourself, on the phone; or by "authorising" another user to spend it on your behalf (they'll add them to your FC account).
