BA black Amex card

With the fee paying black BA amex does the companion voucher hit your account as soon as 10,000 is spent or does it appear at year end on the anniversary of card issue?

It's as soon as you reach the spend threshold as I've read a lot of posts about people complaining they got it too early, or holding off any more use of the card until they wanted the voucher.

T&CS here, point 5:

When the Member has reached their spend target an e-voucher (Companion Voucher) will be added to their British Airways Executive Club account.

Locutus is right, many people used to defer spend in order not to trigger the 2 for 1. But with the premium plus card card the twofer is now valid for 24 months, I suspect fewer people will be doing this.
