I collected my small amount from William Hill yesterday on a 20/1 bet at £2 each way. £54 now in my purse and paying towards my chiropractor fees whom I saw for the first time ever last night after putting my back out last week. Every little helps.

Sorry to drag this thread up again, but I've just noticed some interesting opportunities for a further wager or two on tonight's Election Debate:

Paddy Power are offering odds of 50/1 that Gordon Brown will have Botox before the debate and 500/1 that he'll take to the stage in a Tony Blair mask.

Coral meanwhile are giving 16/1 that any leader will do an impression of someone else and an impressive 100/1 that one of them will walk on stage with his flies open.

Almost worth tuning in for. Then again, probably not.

Eric became the star attraction at the B&ES barbecue - any plans for Gordon?

Continuing my form of picking at least one of the first 5 for some years now, I got 1st, 2nd & 4th, turning a £40 stake into ~£95 (also backed 3 at longer odds which would've been nice!), including a return from a 10/3 double on Chelsea beating Villa in the Cup and Barcelona beating Real Madrid :)

Also got £30 cashback due from QuidCo - £10 for PaddyPower and £20 for Betfair :D

Cheers

Michael: crowing doesn't become you. More importantly, where's the clever money heading for a decent election bet?

No idea really - guess the odds shortened on the LibDems after Thursday night, but would that pay out?? Ugh, too political...
