air new zealand are just copying virgin atlantic the upper class suite is exactly the same just in different colours and probably and different IFE system. i have travelled ANZ upper class but has anyone travelled in the new suite and how does it and the service compare to VS.

ANZ are not copying, it is the VS UCS. Not 100% sure they are using it as First Class though, i think they have gone to a two class config & they are using this as a Business/First hybrid.

It just proves how good the product is when other airlines want to buy it from you!!!!

Yeah - Air New Zealand actualy licensed the seat from VS; it's sold as Business Class... They call it Business Premier - see here:

If you do a search you will find some previous topics on this.

It is the BFB (Britax Flat Bed) that is licensed from VS - http://www.contour.aero/start.html

ANZ have indeed consolidated their F and C classes to create a J offereing, with J following the industry meaning of Premium Business.
