I was always curious as to whether the writers had a plan from the outset and knew where the story was going to end up, or if they were just making it up as they went along. Disappointingly, we now know that it was the latter. Pants.

I'm afraid to say that "Lost" lost me at the first espisode (after all it wasn't "The Wire" ), but this sounds very like the writing of the end of "Ashes to Ashes". Perhaps the writers were all secretly hoping it would get canned so they'd never have to bring it to some form of ordered close..

C'mon Scrooge...

I dont really understand the whole ending, despite also reading Lostpedia. I take it that it was all Jack's alternate reality, not the others. I still don't get the 'plug', how the wheel to move the island is connected, and one thing that bothers me is the episode where we see Charlotte excavating a Polar Bear in Tunisia or somewhere with a Dharma collar, what was the significance of that? Aaaargh!!!

So many questions without answers....
