Oh dear! Oh dear! Oh dear!

Last June I booked a flight from Cork to Tel Aviv on a through ticket. The Cork-Heathrow leg is on an Aer Lingus flight as a BA codeshare and I must overnight in LHR prior to an 8:25a.m departure in the morning. When I booked, the BA website trumpeted that OLCI would be open at 20:00 on November 9th - 24 hours before that flight. As a matter of interest EI opens its OLCI 30 hours before departure and I would already be missing 6 hours of choosing seats :(!

Last week I was reminded of OLCI and earlier today the same thing happened so I waited with eager anticipation. So, on the dot of 20:00 tonight I logged on and went to OLCI only to get the message that I was too early. I have repeatedly got that message as well as a reminder to do OLCI ?|

To add insult to injury, out of curiosity I went on to the Aer Lingus website to try OLCI using the BA PNR. It was accepted! If I had known that I would have used the seat selection for that flight ages ago. Alas the only seats left are crappy ones. I didn't check in for that flight and maybe some better seats may be available at the airport.

It will be interesting to see if the LHR-TLV check-in opens at T-24. I'm assuming it will ii)

Yeah, I was expecting the T-24 to be for the Tel Aviv flight but from the moment I made my booking they were insisting it was from the time of my EI booking which has a BA codeshare flight number
