Mine from my latest trips were added at the same time as the main miles. My online booking bonuses were added at the monthly sweep.

I always had to ring the premier team for my gold bonus. As to the online bonus, the vs website originally said they would be credited within 7 days. However it turned out to be a monthly sweep. So I always called about those too.
As you may have gathered this is one of my bugbears. Of course it only takes a phone call to sort out, but when you have to call every time ..... To me it is like a bank account - it should mostly be right. If a bank always made an error when my salary was paid in, I would not be a happy bunny.
On the other hand, when I got it corrected they regularly got the bonus calculation wrong in my favour! And sometimes I would also be given 5000 miles for my trouble. So every cloud has a silver lining !

Never had to call for it - it always posts automatically the second my mileage for the flight does.

It appears in it's own line, either immediately above or below the flight credit.

Thats interesting - I assumed everyone had the same problems a me getting their bonuses credited, but that appears not to be the case. I wonder if it is something to do with the way one's account is set up, and how many golds are struggling with this?

I have the same experience as Paul. Mine always gets creditted with the main mileage and I never have to chase it up (unless I have used miles to upgrade)

Our 25% Au bonus miles have always credited at the same time as the trip mileage and the online booking bonus has always credited without a push.Only just realised the 25% bonus is not UC mileage but base mileage.

Thanks I now know what to look out for, just base miles received so far but I've had to ask for miles many times in the past so wanted to be aware of the exact situation.(usually duty free not credited the last one took a letter and postage of receipts)

I had actually forgotten about the on line booking bonus so its a double thank you:D

The Au bonus miles are added to your account by a different department than the ordinary miles. They do usually appear at the same time but there might be a slight delay.

I've always had the Au bonus added automatically at the same time (though as a separate line item) to the regular flown mileage. The online booking bonus is quite another matter (see separate thread on this).

2 AU cards here and both have always had Gold bonus miles credited at the same time as the many miles, normally next day ex-LHR/LGW and within 2/3 days ex-US.

On-line check-in ones, when applicable, come later.

Have to say, I'm not sure this is the case.

If you do a "claim missing miles" online, immediately after your flight (ie: the morning after), both the flight miles AND the bonus miles are added automatically. They do seem to be linked in the system somewhere.

Did this after the last trip for the first time, mrs jag's posted inc bonus and mine didn't(you have already been credited these miles) both tickets were on the same booking ref.Mine did posted correctly after a couple of days.

Au mileage bonus now credited. Two days later but posted as the same date as the original miles.
