yes i apologise your right on that one however i said only some of the newark and orlando flights
No, you implied, in two clear sentences that the following flights would cease: all flights from LGW to PHC, and then in the second sentence, some flights from LGW to EWR & MCO:

virign atlantic are soon to cease flights from london gatwick to port harcourt in nigeria. they are also ceasing some flights from gatwick to newark and orlando as well as stated on the web-site
For clarity, this is the announcement on
this page:
"Virgin Atlantic will be cancelling the London Gatwick to Port Harcourt VS623 Friday service and the Port Harcourt to London Gatwick VS624 Saturday service with effect from Friday 23rd September 2005."
So, the VS623 & VS624 will still run on Mondays & Wednesday (return Tuesday/Thursday) - the flight is not "ceasing", just the Friday (Saturday return) service has been cancelled.
and relating to EWR/MCO:
"Due to operational reasons, Virgin Atlantic has had to cancel the following services:
Between London and New York, Newark:
* VS017 LHR-EWR 23 Aug - 15 Nov 2005 (Tuesdays only ex-UK)
* VS018 EWR-LHR 24 Aug - 16 Nov 2005 (Wednesdays only ex-US)
Between London Gatwick and Orlando:
* VS027/028 LGW-MCO-LGW - 7, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 27 Sept 2005
* VS049/050 LGW-MCO-LGW - 4, 10, 17, 24 Sept 2005
Passengers will be rebooked onto the VS015/016 London Gatwick to Orlando services on the same day"
Note, at the moment these are only certain dates as listed above - not permanent. Again, the rest of the schedule will run as normal - when you say "cease", you imply it's a permanent and conclusive ending, which this does not look like it is. There's a clear difference between "cease" and "adjust schedule"
I will edit the title of this topic to be a little less misleading.
Cheers
Michael
