selected seating online....

flying to bgi from man on 13/10/05, went online and selected my seats 48a and 48b, they seem to be adjacent to emergency exit, ie have legroom and my request was successful, thought you weren't able to select legroom/emergency exit seats online so I am baffled, please someone tell me if I have got good seats!

Sorry, but on a LGW 747, row 48 is the one IN FRONT of the emergency exit, so will have no more room than any other economy seat.

many thanks,i see that now, i just wanted to try get some legroom as my fella is six foot 8, think i will cancel my selection and waittill check in, thanks again for your help
