Virgin Casino are now offering 10,000 bonus flying miles for first time players if you deposit £10.

Unfortunately not on offer to us who already registered[n][}:)]

I think I might write to complain that their most enthusiastic points collectors are being penalised.

Are these the same "Flying Miles" that were discussed in this thread some time ago?

If so, they're not true FC miles in the first instance - they're "Hight Flyer Points". Still not entirely sure how these work in terms of transferring them, but I guess it's worth investigating to see what can be done... ;):D

Cool. [y]

Just noticed a couple things in the T&C though:

2. To qualify for the 10,000 Flying Club miles bonus members must:
i) Register for a new cash account with Virgin Casino and deposit at least £10 into your account. Then stake (play through) at least £100 in bets on any game in the casino.
ii) Enter your Flying Club membership number and Virgin Casino username into the boxes provided at http://www.virgincasino.com/flyingclub
3. The £100 stake has to be played through by 30th November 2005.

Just hope you're lucky enough to get £100 out of a £10 stake ;) (Having said that, £100 for 10k miles - suggesting you're really unlucky - isn't that bad...)

If you read the T&C's you need to bet at least £100 not just the tenner.

Register with Virgin Casino at http://www.virgincasino.com/flyingclub deposit £10 or more and play any game you choose. In total, youÕll need to stake at least £100 in casino bets to qualify. It wonÕt take long; just keep cool and show the house how itÕs done.

It shouldn't cost you that much. Even the slot machines have an average payback of 96% ( I.E. on average you should get £96 back for every £100 bet ) . Blackjack played well has a payback of 98-99%

I suppose you could have a run of bad luck though.

I deposited £50 to try and receive the bonus £50. After betting £500 I had £40 left :D

I just tried this, and I deposited 20 and played through a 150 quid with 5 quid left! So I made 10000 miles and 5 quid! All without leaving my bed :D.

Just signed up and had a little play [:I]

I see how that could almost be as addictive as being in vegas on the slots.

Put £50 in and bet until I was at just over £100 played through. Then transfered the £28.75 back into the bank.

10k miles for £21.25, not bad at all :D

Deposited £10, played more than £100, won £43. Sounds like a good deal.
I do nto seem to have any miles in the High Flyer section at the moment, can anyone else see their miles?

For those that haven't yet signed up for Virgin Casino, but wish to do so, it would be much appreciated if you could do so by following this link, which is the same as the one on the main forum page. That link gives V-Flyer a small kickback for each new player and every little bit helps to pay for the site ;)

Thanks,

Pete

Well, it's actually only £50 maximum loss anyway - with the first deposit bonus (or "FIRST DIPOSIT" as it says further down the VS page [V]), deposit £50 + £50 bonus - lose it all = £50 max loss :)

Not quite, Michael...

That bonus has got it's very own little "gem" in it's T's & C's:

6. To qualify for the bonus offer customers must stake an amount equal to ten (10) times their initial deposit. For example, an initial deposit of £10 means you must in total stake at least £100; an initial deposit of £50 means you must in total stake at least £500 before the bonus free credit will be awarded. Total Stake is defined as the 'combined total of all wagers placed regardless of the result'.

However, I've just registered and deposited £20. 10 minutes later, I had £32.50 from playing BlackJack after betting a total of £112.

10k miles are on their way, and they paid me £12 for them... :D

okay Ive done the deed.

application process did not instill me with confidence though, and I'm still not sure I went through the application process properly.

Have bet £131 (got a bit carried away!) still got some cash left :), but no highflyer points show on screen.

Would be interested to hear from fellow v-flyers how long it takes for 10k miles to register ion their account - could someone please post and let me know?!!

Michael, would you deny V-Flyer the chance at the referral? ;)

BTW, dunno if it was directly related, but back in June 2004 when I first registered with Virgin Games, I sent them a message suggesting they offer Flying Club miles for spinning their roulette wheel. I wonder if that got them initially thinking about their High Flyers malarky?

Not at all - I think we can all have a bite of the cherry :D I just referred another email account of mine, and got the following:

Your friend thought you might be interested in our Virgin Casino £25 refer-a-friend cash bonus. It's a unique bonus that we only offer to friends of our casino members and we'd love you to have it.

Your friend said:
""

Here's how it works...

Step 1:
Simply follow the link to the Virgin casino and register your details to set up an account (this won't take more than a minute or two).
http://www.virgincasino.com

Step 2:
Deposit £25 into your Virgin casino account.

Step 3:
Once you have registered and deposited your £25 you will need to confirm your request for a refer-a-friend bonus. Simply follow this link to confirm your request now:
[removed referral link]

Step 4:
Make £25 in bets in the casino and we'll credit your account with the £25 refer-a-friend bonus. Your bonus will be credited to your account within 48 hours. Terms and Conditions apply (see here)

So, it looks like the person being referred can follow the V-F link to sign up, getting V-F a referrer bonus, then click the promotion link to get me (and them) the refer-a-friend bonus.....:D Then enter their details for the FC promo and get 10k miles! Or am I being too optimistic here?? ;) Anyone wanna try it and see?

Cheers

Well, in either case (the refer-a-friend, or the initial sign-up), the promotional criteria need to be matched before the bonus is paid. Also, you need to be...ummm...referred by someone to get the refer-a-friend bonus ;)

Absolutely - 1k FC miles on your first order, 750 on each subsequent one - have a search on here for more comment on Virgin Wines, plenty have been made before :)
