Got an invite to Exhibit 05 today from FC. Didn't think much of it to be honest but I see they are also putting tickets up as a prize to other FC members. Anyone else get an invite? I would not be attending though.

Seems a strange prize / award. I would have thought that the demographic for it would be somewhat limited. ;)[8D]

I must confess that when I read about the competition, I wasn't exactly filled with joy at the prospect of winning. Still each to his / her own :)

Hmm, no invite and not spectacularly interested in it to be honest - probably a good job it's on while I'm away anyway :D

Cheers

Bonhams, the world famous auctioneer of fine art and antiques are hosting EXHIBIT 05, an exhibition consisting of contemporary works from up-and-coming young artists.

Competition is here for those interested.

If I had some free tickets and I was still in the area wouldn't have minded a peek. But I'm away when its on, and if I wasn't wouldn't want to spend the money on train fares for it.

Sailor99,
If you don't get an invite I wonder if I can apply on your behalf. Let me know if you don't get anything and we can have a go.

It would be a rather bad show by FC if they had sent you an invite when you were away having taken VS booked flights.

I would have been interested, but unfortunately no tickets and in Orlando at the time. Not that I'm complaining.

Just to add my opinion...

I am not / will never be AU, but "Er indoors" would love to go and that's why I entered the competition!

It's okay - hopefully I won't win!;)

The Exhibit 05 last night was will worthwhile going to. There were a number of familiar faces from VA there and even the UC suites model to try. No it did not have any small red cushion on it! The art was by a number of young artists being sold for charity. The standard was very high. The event was very busy and the Champagne Ruinart was freely flowing!

Yes I did end up buying a picture.
