After overnight trip to Helensburgh, it was time to head home traffic or a problem this time. Security was busy there but they had lots of lanes open. Wander through the obligatory duty free route - lots of free alcohol samples if you wanted. Headed off to lounge - not too busy there. Asked about champagne and surprised that they had it. Few nice sandwiches and the time passed quickly.

Headed off to plane when boarding announced and most had already boarded unlike on the way up! We had the exit row so more space. Really overcast day in Scotland and North England, so nothing to see initially - this changed about over the midlands, so some nice views as we came in over London. Unfortunately we came in from the East this time, so no great views over London during the descent.

Service was the usual BA city-flyer service. Usual crisps / biscuit run through and then a drinks service. For some reason the cabin crew person who served us thought we needed an extra drink, so we got double measures! ): They are much friendly than normal BA crew!!

Arrived early and then it was a short walk through the terminal to find out there was no DLR between LCY and Canning Town, so it was off for DLR replacement bus service.

All in all a very good flight.....I love any flight that involves going to / from LCY!
