I was checking on Orbitz for tickets and for Virgin Atlantic VS 21/22 they say it is operated by a 340-300 (which it usually is) but the seat maps now show a 340-600 configuration for the dates around xmas. Does this mean that IAD will start to get regular a340-600? Or is it a glitch in the system? Or will we just get the -600 for the xmas period?

IAD flights do sometimes operate using an A346. I was lucky back in March and got an A346 both ways.

Dear Virgin:

If you upgrade A343 to a A346; please not only change the seat map but change the aircraft code in the system. Some people know that the 346 has V:Port and want to fly on it.

BTW - If you call from the USA before about 8AM EST you get transfered to the premimer team in the UK. They will help you but the USA people don't know or care.
