Seems like a simple case of a typo with an email address.

most of my email addresses do not resemble my name, does that make it suspicious? In fact, most of my emails have the name of the company that are sending me the email in the name, so I can identify where the email came from if sold on to a third party. I know all emails to [email protected] have come from Virgin or someone has access to their database.

Yeah, it's an odd story that one.. a simple typo is the most likely explanation, but we'd need more info to know exactly.

locutus, that's a very good system, and if I had the patience to set it up, and keep check on all those email addresses, I would do the same. Instead, I have a few email addresses, each for a specific purpose - work, home, online shopping.. and all the spam ends up in the shopping one.. which is better than being in my personal Inbox.

Thanks for the link[y][y]

The fact that VS are concerned suggests this may be more than a simple "slip of the keyboard finger"
