Nope, but it happens more than you would think.
Thanks

Nope , but last time I came back from holiday my husband did turn up at Gatwick Airport a day EARLY to pick me up lol
Never experienced myself, but I've seen many times on the "Airline" programme that used to air on ITV.
A few years back we got a taxi to Gatwick and asked driver to pick us up from LHR.
2 hours after landing back in the uk, no sign of him and then a frantic phone call to say we'll have to pay more car parking fees unless we hurried up. We asked had he gone to the wrong terminal maybe and the reply came "no I'm waiting at entrance on level 3 where I dropped you". Can't write the words he used when he realised he was at he wrong airport

No but Mr DL was left stranded at BRS last year by me - for some reason I'd got it in my head that the flight landed at 11pm and was happily out shopping with my friend (11am arrival lol). He wasn't best pleased as he had another 1.5 hrs to wait until I got there ii) .

Only 1.5 hours? Tsk, DL! I never had you down as a lightweight in the shopping stakes

My husband and some friends were taken to the wrong airport in Moscow! Not very happy as they missed their flight. Apparently it happens such a lot in Moscow.
A friend of mine wanted to visit a Spa in Goa and booked the flights separately on the internet. The problem was when she turned up at the airport she found out that she had accidentally booked flights to Genoa :0 Instead of checking out the next flight to Goa she decided to cancel the Spa in India and headed off on an impromptu adventure to Italy! oo)
I'd love to say fate stepped in, she had a wonderful holiday, met the man of her dreams and never looked back but the whole trip was a disaster and she still hasn't made it to Goa!

A purple boarding card, pre-booked cowshed treatment, glass of T10 with lime, a proper amenity kit, packet of polos and a Freedom Menu please!

Not gone to the wrong airport but my dopey son booked a two flights home for him and hs at the time partner to fly home from our home in Spain. On arrival at Alicante he had booked himself to Luton and his partner to LGW. she was not amused but had the last laugh as his light was delayed and then after an inflight emergency diverted o LGW also.
More than once I've arrived at Luton and decided (after negotiating security etc...) That I simply MUST be at the wrong airport!
It's the airport closest to my home, but I avoid it like the plague these days...

No, but I've been at the EZY check in at STN when it has been pointed out to people they have tickets from Luton.
I've been to the wrong Hilton in London more than once...

We can get better, because we're not dead yet
Of course thinking about it there have been a number of incidents of people going to Sydney, Nova Scotia rather than Sydney , Australia.

Yes last August went to Heathrow instead of Gatwick, I ask my parnter why we were driving into Heathrow he thought I was joking!!!

Not the wrong airport, but I did turn up one morning at Boston Logan for my 8:30am Airtran flight. I was trying to check my bag in and the lady could not find my booking.
"It's OK"; I said cheerily, "I have my boarding pass as I have checked-in online."
She read it carefully and said;
"Yes you have checked in for your seat on the 8:30 PM flight."
Oooops.
Thankfully I got on as a standby passenger and made my 11:30am meeting in Baltimore.

Not I, but my BH turned up at SJC to pick me up from a flight that landed at SFO
Used to live on the peninsula at the time and split my flights between the two airports, so an understandable mistake I suppose.

Turned up at BOS North station last year, got the prebooked tickets from the machine and couldn't find the platform number.Hardly surprising as the train left from South station. We did make the train, thankfully as per usual we were there far too early.
Not so much for a flight, but was in Seattle earlier in the year and had a bit of free time so thought i'd go on the Boeing factory tour (very good if you get the chance btw!) - silly me for assuming it was at Boeing field airport in seattle and not Everett to the north of Seattle - doh!
I've gone to pick somebody up from STN instead of Luton
Not myself but was at STN about a week ago and overheard a group of people complaining to an agent that they couldn't find there flight. On closer inspection the ticket said: London (LGW)... oh dear!
No, but a good friend up the road did!
She got a taxi to LGW, when her flight left from LHR - if you knew her, you wouldn't be surprised-----lovely kind lady, but mad as a box of frogs!
A taxi driver I know has told me of at least 3 people "transiting in London" that he has dashed from LHR to LGW - they hadn't realised that they were different airports! Amazingly, 2 of the 3 actually made their flights!
