IAD - fast track security

Hi,

Quick question regarding IAD security - is there a fast track still available. Last time I was pointed to the 'Diamond Lane' (iirc) which you accessed via the arrivals level. Is that still in existence as its not marked on the terminal map on the IAD website?

There is a business class lane at the security checkpoint.

It leads to a slightly shorter queue to go through the scanners, but the scanner queues are all kept the same length by the line sorters and slightly staggered, so you pretty much all end up in the same place.

It is not really that much faster in my opinion unless there is a large queue of people at the passport and ticket checking desks.
