There is a huge thread here. I would suggest looking for you answer in there and asking your question in that thread.

Just a point of clarification. You will find somewhere in the huge thread that VS-EWR is referring to, that a senior manager from VS has posted a reassurance that Freedom menu will be available in its entirity on GNF. I would not want this to potentially mislead you. There have been a number of Travel reports which indicate that the freedom menu is more restricted in terms of choice. It has also been reported that the way staff have dealt with pax led those pax to believe that they were being 'encouraged' to not use the normal freedom service, but to get their heads down. The latter is of course a question of perception, and is difficult to be catagorical about. However there have been several similar reports which does tend to add some credence IMO. There have also been reports that GNF is just fine, and not a problem (Not as many of these though, I would say).

In summary and to answer your implied question, based on TRs, I would say that while freedom is officially available on GNF, it is debatable if it is the same full freedom service or if its use is encouraged.

Sorry if my answer appears to be a little cautious. However you should understand that GNF has cause significant heat on the forum which I don't wish to re-ignite. I would not want this thread to turn into a "son of GNF Thread" debate of the same issues as the previous thread.

The bar stays open. This can be a bit of a problem on occassion for those wishing to sleep.
