It varies, based on how/when/who booked.

I've had some within 15 minutes, some 24 hours (and some have needed a call to VS to "release" it).

I'd say give it until tomorrow, if nothing - then call them.

It says on the website that it can't be retrieved until the tickets had been issued. Like preiffer I have been able to view them fairly shortly thereafter but sometimes it takes a bit longer especially if I book at night or at the weekend. Mine is always a phone booking so it depends on the information being send to ticketing

Hi Airbus340, I booked tickets on Saturday over the phone using Flying Club Red line. I asked the agent for the booking ref while he was still on the phone and was able to access my booking there & then on VS web site! However the eticket "customer receipt" email confirming ticket numbers was not sent by VS until today, 3 days later.

So why do you always book over the phone HL? You would get loads of miles if you booked on line ;)

Like others, in my experience it has varied between minutes and next day.

Ryanair manage to get your ticket issued real time mind you. Great airline, Ryanair ;)

oh man..everyone duck..the reason for this is,if I remember rightly is that the VS website cannot handle bookings from Ireland,so she has to call the FC everytime..I stand to be corrected by HL on this whole post.

Nah, no troll warning - we just need to add a "Sarcasm Flag" to the site... ;)

Ignoring all the previous posts about my inability to book on-line, the greatness of Ryanair and 24 months in a year, [:p][:p] as far as I can gather ticketing works ordinary office hours. Earlier this year I had difficulties with the issue of some of my tickets and when I called the Premier Team either at night or the weekend, I was informed they could not get on to ticketing until the next day

If it's any help, for clarity, my ticket from last night:

Booked at 00:15 last night/this morning

Reference Code issued immediately on-screen
(allowing me to type it in and recall the booking online although not connected to FC account, so manually had to type in reference number)

E-Ticket emailed at 14:37 this afternoon with ticket number

From 14:38, booking is now linked to my FC account
(Clicking "Update booking" automatically picks it up without needing the reference number any longer)

Hmm. Never done the 50% off before, but I did use some "Christmas vouchers" once (a couple years ago, when they did such a thing) and they needed to be sent in before the ticket was actually issued.

You can still have the reference number though, to view the booking, before the ticket is issued itself.

When we booked our trip following Aer John's win the tickets were not released and therefore we couldn't view them until the letter announcing his win had been received back by VS

Hi Paul,

Just interested in what you say re Update Booking automatically picking up the booking without the booking ref? I remember a few years back being able to do this but certainly for my last few tickets I've always had to input Booking Ref, Flight No. & Flight Date when logged in to FC. As mentioned in a previous posting I purchased 2 UC tickets just last Saturday (over the phone with FC) as needed to confirm S & G availability. All sorted out fine and was instantly able to access the booking on-line. The E-Ticket wasn't mailed until yesterday (Tues) but even after that it still doesn't retrieve my booking automatically when logged into FC[?]

Make sure your FC number has been entered. This happened to me and once I had edited it and entered the number it showed up fine

Hmm. To be honest, every time my ticket's been issued (as long as it has my FC number in it, too), it's appeared at the top of the screen under "Update Booking" as a link automatically.

I'd try calling FC, to make sure it's been linked to your account properly?
