Gatwick Building Work

Just a heads up to let you all know that BAA are refurbishing the gates from which Virgin Atlantic normally depart from.

Flew in this morning to find 2 boarded up with everything removed to just a concert floor. There's also work been done on the Baggage Reclaim & Customs Area.

If you're a regular VS customer flying out of Gatwick, you might be well advised to check the Departure Gate!

When we came back from Cuba last month they were working then seems like one gate at a time.

Thanks for the heads up. BTW does anyone know what they are bulding near the gates just infront of the CH (as you look out of the window), they have been doing it for some time now.
