I'm off tonight to Mumbai in PE returning December 12th and hope to post a TR when I get back since I was unable to find any useful information on the site before my flight. I have to say that from what I've read about the old 343-300, which I'm on tonight, I haven't really been looking forward to it. The flight back is on a 343-600 so that might be better.

Thanks for that. The more info the better.

I am sure that the 343 will not be too bad, depite the postings of a certain individual over on a.net. However the 346 with v-port and so on is great!

Yeah, I know who you mean - his incessant whining about VS and how he feels short changed by the service does my brain in [n] and he still cant grasp the fact about VBUS can he? Once and for all, just because it is in VK c/s doesnt make it a Nigerian plane - wish he'd give it a rest [V]

I flew the Virgin Nigeria A343 BOM LHR on 17/121 and it was fantastic. Okay when I arrived at BOM and saw the a/c i was disappointed - expecting a A346 - but once on board my fears were dispelled. Was flying UC and the cabin was immaculate, the service was just sublime.........I will do a TR once I get back to Aussie. The food was better than the rubbish we got on Air NZ LHR -LAX in J which was a disgrace, no friggin menus were loaded plus no amenity kits. However the service redeemed Air NZ.

This was my first VS flight and to say I was impressed was an understatment. I will be flying VS again i assure you.

I know what idiot you are all referring too!!

Just seen some good news on A.net [8D], looked at this individuals profile and saw the following....

This user is temporarily banned due to repeated violation of our forum rules. The account will be activated again in 30 days if the user confirms that he/she will adhere to the rules in the future.

As if he is going to adhere to the rules - [:?]

You will also find the offensive posts are now in the process of being deleted by the mods over there. Unfortunately Pomnath/Malikifx/etc was not the only one to be suspended[:#], although that is probably fair.

Well, at least your ban is only 3 days, compared to his 30 ;)

Oh, come on - what you said was IMHO fair and justified, we have seen you know who for the troll that he is, and if we all said what we thought of him then 90% of the a.net posters would be serving a ban now. 30 days is a light sentence for him IMHO.

To Sailor and Pix - I salute you [oo] defenders of the V-flyer faith [y]

Currently still in India. Flew on VAEL which despite its relative comfort in PE the IFE was a joke. Ridiculously small screens with terrible scratchy static sound. I ended up with a headache. I thought the return trip on Monday 12/12 was supposed to be on a 343-600 but it's not it's be another clapped out old 343-300 and I'm dreading it. I've brought my mum for great holiday and flying experience has been a HUGE let down. I should have used BA. Despite the fact I love Virgin and want to stay faithful, I shouldn't be dreading 10 hours in PE I should be looking forward to it.
