As title really! It's the only LHR 744 still with Odyssey, and I wondered if there were any known plans to fit V:Port to it? I thought that maybe as it already has UCS fitted they maybe won't bother with a V:Port retro fit? Unless they have other plans for this reg maybe...

I noticed it's in AMS at the moment (or was recently), but I guess that's just regular maintenance.

Would be nice to know that flying 744 from LHR would definitely be V:Port (like when flying A346), and not just a 5/6 probability!

I dont know the answer, but my bet would be that this plane will relocate to the Gatwick fleet at some point, when the new Jamaica flights and additonal MAN flights commence.

I have nothing to back this up - other than a hunch!

Hi,

I think that the general rumour both on this board and others is that LHR will eventually become all airbus once the A380s arrive.

I would not be at all surprised to see G-VXLG move over to Gatwick/Man next year.
