Well after reading all the bad press here I was beginning to wonder whether I'd done the right thing booking an Orlando holiday with VH next year. However I'm pleased to report that I've had nothing but excellent service so far. We booked back in September and requested four UC seats. As others here will already know, VH only get an initial allocation of 2 UC seats until the 336(?) day threshold arrives, so we booked PE. VH said they would request the UC seats as soon as they could and if they couldn't be secured then we had the option of keeping the PE seats or getting a full refund. Well I'm pleased to say that they kept their word and secured the UC seats as requested. I was given the flight code, nipped over to VA and chose our seats. VH also adjusted the cost of the holiday to reflect the online discount as if I'd originally booked UC. My advice is to always deal with a sales advisor in the new reservations team. I did on one occasion have the misfortune to get through to after-sales in (presumably) India which was a waste of time.

Glad you have had a good experience with your VH booking and yes it is nice when people keep their word and actually do what they said they would do. I am sure you all will enjoy UC and the suites, will it be your first time in UC?

Please don't get us going on the merits/de-merits of outsourcing call centers to India, we could be here all night!

Yes, it will be our first time in UC and indeed first travel with VA. I hope we won't be disappointed.

Hi ric

Vigin Holidays do seem to get a fair bit of criticism on here and other forums.

I can only speak from my own experiences however and have been on 6 Virgin holidays to date and had nothing but excellent service on all of them!

Friends tell me that I could have booked cheaper elsewhere, but I am happy to pay a little extra if the service is good - and so far it has been [y]

Enjoy yourself in Orlando!
