Here is a link to an interesting interview with Steve Ridgway it is from September this year but I couldn't find if referenced elsewhere on this site.

Some interesting comments about the financial side - most profitable year to Feb since 1999.

Also on the 380 - ÒAll I will say is I bet youÕll find the Virgin Atlantic ones will be some of the nicest and some of the most radical.Ó

The big tease!

Thanks for posting that Bazz.

Yes, thanks for the link, Bazz - I hadn't seen it before and found it very interesting.

Out of interest, I hear Steve Ridgway has a pet hate of an 'e' being added to the middle of his surname. [:I]

Best wishes

As some of you may know,I have a real problem with Steve Ridgeway and the fact that he is running VS.

Here is his Bio

Now im sure that Mr Ridgeway is a nice guy,but let's face fact's,he got the job not becuase of what he know's,but because he is a friend of SRB,he was part of the Atlantic challanger team acting as an engineer on both boats.

Now im not saying he's done a bad job either, just there are times when it show's that he has no idea what the heck goes on inside a plane and how to make it work better for the pax and the crew.

read Here and here

While I do think he has been able to do a few good things im left wondering how much of that was his doing and how much SRB had to do with it and more of the upper managment at VS.

A good example of VS doing something right is how the MAN ops have increased over the last 2 years [y]

Just had to get that off my chest [:I]

Do expand - your links hardly justify that position, so why?

Having no desire to upset the man, I have changed the topic and my opening post. Thanks David for pointing that out.
