Oh yes!!!
I hadnt forgotten, honestly! just soooo busy at work. Sooo cant wait for the week off.
Actually we will be going through a couple of Guidebooks we picked from Tokyo and will be searching for some more food options (yakiniku, sweets buffets and the like).
I will update with some more options but in the mean time I would suggest floor 13 and 14 of Takashimaya in Shinjuku (southern terrace exit). There are a wide variety of restaurants, you can sample just about anything. The sushi place on Floor 13 is very nice, if you can get a seat by the window its pretty cool too.
Also the basement floor is a supermarket and deli section so it is also great for getting some food to take back to your hotel.
Also if you are prepared to splash out then a restaurant called kitaohji in nishi shinjuku is awesome. They do private dining kaiseki for about 10,000jpy per head.
Oh almost forgot - La Maison in the Lumine 2 building (at shinjuku station). Fantastic little french patisserie so if you are feeling peckish for cake in the evening thats the place to go.
Im not sure if I am allowed to post links to the above so will PM you.
if there is a type of food you would particular like to try in Tokyo let us know.
There are a couple of v-flyers who actually live in japan too so they would be even better placed im sure to give some suggestions.
Im also open to any suggestions others have for cool places to eat in Tokyo.
