These things are organised months in advance and the police and highways agency consider all sorts of factors in the decision to allow loads like this.

Half term would be a very minor factor in the scheme of things.

I have flown into Kemble a few times and have seen the planes to be scrapped there. It is always sad to see them, but there is big bucks in scrapping them.

Exactly. Stuff like this, wide loads etc should be done at 3am or something


But even if they start at 3am doesn't the average speed mean they'll be inevitably disrupting someone,somewhere?
