I have a doubletree booked for July, but it is through Priceline.
As a Hilton Honors Gold member, is there a way I can get the privileges that come with it? Im not really interested in the points - but free breakfast or room upgrade, etc. would be nice.....

AFAIK the gold benefits should still apply, just not the points. But to be honest I've only booked direct for the last few years as they've always managed a belter of a deal.

Can you put your HH number into your priceline booking? If so that should be enough.

If not then email the hotel with the priceline booking reference.

Show them your HH card on arrival.

You won't get the points as many hotel programmes now won't allocate them to bookings made via 3rd parties and especially 'secret' bookings but they should honour status.

great - it was a secret booking, so I will whip out my gold card to see if I get anything.
As I say, not bothered about the points - room was only £70 a night, so any freebies is always a bonus.

You tend not to get any of the benefits if you've booked via third party. Worth asking though I suppose, but I'd not expect an upgrade in a hilton, whether the gold card means anything apart from that though...

If HHonors is anything like Starwood or IHG, when you book via 3rd parties, they will add your number to the booking when you check-in if you hand your card over, but you won't get the benefits or points for the actual accommodation bit, though you will get the points for any extra charges made to the room; dining or mini-bar etc.

HHonors T&Cs state that you can't earn any points during a third party booked stay, even on extra charges. Hilton a quite strict compared to many other chains.
