I don't think anyone will know the answer to this, they just appear randomly from time to time, probably aligned with weaker sales at various times.

They do "usually" have a reward sale starting late August often around the time of the late bank holiday... up to 2 years it was 50% off many destinations; I think last year was 25% off...

Don't rely on a sale appearing especially if you are on fixed dates.

Availability changes as well and what is there now might not be tomorrow let alone next week or month.

Based on my record I am "anticipating"/hoping for a reward sale around 10th/12th September...

Me too !! Someone on this site said look around 20th August as that is when BA go on sale and Virgin may jump on the bandwagon. The thing is that I noticed that prices have gone down overnight and are showing prices that I paid last year in the sale for PE seats. Specifically for the Caribbean. Barbados, Jamaica or St Lucia is fine for me. I am waiting for the UC seats to go down !! They haven't yet.

Keep an eye out tomorrow and right up until the first week in September. I think the prices are gonna plummet and the low prices are a sweetener. Why else wouldn't Virgin capitalise on a sale ? Everyone loves a bargain

Does anybody know if you can book a one way sale reward seat in PE or Y and combine with a REGULAR one way UC reward?

Don't see it being a problem? you can purchase a one way reward fine, so you could have two separate redemptions?

After some late night phone calls managed to get two reward flights to Shanghai, but alas only economy available either way :,( REALLY hoping we can upgrade with more miles closer to the time as that's what we were saving for, but restricted with dates.

Does anyone an email address virgin actually reply to? Been trying off and on since February to get missing miles on wife's accounts added from an upper class trip last Xmas (so now it's outside the 6mths I can't do any more online requests)
Thanks
