Hi

Long shot here and sorry if its been asked before.

If I buy a Delta Ticket (Part of a package from Expedia UK) that will have me flying Premium Economy on a Virgin Atlantic Flight will my Virgin Atlantic Gold Status be recognized.

i.e. Will I get lounge access to the Clubhouse or Delta Equivalent for me and my partner, will I get VA Miles, Tier Points or bonus Miles relevant to my VA Gold Status.

If no will my VA Status be recognized by Delta in any way?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Yes, as long as you enter your FC number into the Expedia booking form it will filter through. To be double-y sure, I'd look up the booking on delta.com once it's confirmed to make sure that the FC number is on the DL website.

Clubhouse access, TPs, miles should all be included. :)

Smiles

Thanks for the prompt reply.

It just seems to good to be true as the expedia offer is extremely good value compared to booking direct.

Just one small point only I have VA gold status. Would my partner still be allowed in to the clubhouse as my guess?

Thanks Jaydun

Yes, as Au you're always allowed a guest as long as they're on the same flight as you.

Doesn't matter who you bought your ticket from, if you're travelling on VS metal your status will be recognised and you'll get all the appropriate benefits.

Somewhere in the confirmation from Expedia, assuming your booking's been ticketed, you should have an airline locator number or PNR for your VS flight (6 characters, eg JX4TY7). You should be able to use that on the VS website to manage your booking, select seats and assign it to your Flying Club account.

Following on from the above I have now booked this and have a Delta E-Ticket Reference.(13 Digits)
Can some one please tell me how or if I can select me seat in PE, do I do this via the Virgin or Delta website?

Thanks again

If you're travelling on a VS plane you do it on the VS website. As stated above you'll need your 6 character VS booking reference which should be somewhere in your confirmation from Expedia. If not just call them and ask for it.

I have the 6 Character Reference and can see the booking on Delta, this is referring me to the virgin website to select seats.
The virgin web site is not recognizing the booking yet, do I have to wait a day or so for it to appear? Or do I need to contact Virgin/Delta

Thanks
