Hello all!.

Just returned from my 4 week holiday to Orlando which was brilliant and not long enough but it has to end at some point! :(

I've been thinking and I wanted to get a flight to LAS or LA which ever worked out cheaper for 2-3 weeks as I want to do Vegas again and then spend time in California.

Is there a cheaper way to go UC here or is there any sales I can grab a bargain at soon?

I would hopefully go next September or after then?

Thanks in advance :)

Lowest LAS price I've seen in the last four or five years has been around £1997, apart from the end of November thing...

So if you want to go direct to UC LAS from Gatwick there might be a sale. Sometimes LAS is included, then it would be , if you are lucky, just under 2K.

However.

There's been a BA sale, usually around 28th November, for the christmas period, from like around 20th, to beginning of January, for the last 4 years. Last year VS silently matched this sale price, so you could find a 1K Upper fare around christmas if you are willing to take the risk.

I've seen UC fares from Dublin, to Gatwick to Vegas vis VS, for around 1200 quid at the moment though. So consider that option too...

Hi, The statement above is really not true at all. You can get upperclass return for as little as £1000 RIGHT NOW if your Willing to make your own way to Dublin, Then fly back to london then on with Virgin to las vegas and the same on the return. You can save a fortune as I have done. I go at the end of Nov and paid just £950 return for 2 upper class flights, 2 business seats with british airways to dublin all on the one ticket.

For example i just checked for next may around the 2/ 3rd and got a price of just £1100 for upper class return. Check it out.

That is a really good deal.

If I was to look for some prices flying from Dublin-lgw-Las can I do this via Virgin Atlantic site?

If you did it this way do you fly in the same day or is there a stopover at Lgw?

I think it's very worth while if your paying £950 pp each way.

With the return can I come back the same way but not do the connecting flight to Dublin?

I've not seen the ex-DUB flight cost via VS to be less than 1100 quid. So I'm interested as to when you booked them at 950 quid.

1200 seems to be the usual low...

There's a thread on here devoted to exactly that subject. Used to be stickied but seems to have become unstuck...
