I emailed VA to ask for the 'take' on this issue and they have today replied saying that the loos at the back of the UC cabin are for the sole use of UC passengers, a PE passenger may sometimes try to use them, in which case this is dealt with by the UC cabin crew. Maybe I should have directed VA to this forum to read of people's experiences.

Judging by some of the responses in the past to various other posts, I don't think you need to direct them, nor VH to anything on this site, firsttimer;)
Thanks,
John.

As most people who use VS and this site will no doubt confirm, the official line given by VS staff on the ground differs from the field rules adopted by those in the air. Generally I applaud these staff for their realistic take on these rules. For some reason there does seem to be an unwritten rule on the LGW routes that the Upper Class passengers do not has the same benefits as those on the LHR routes.
The two pet peeves I have is the UC loos, but also priority debarkation. Some people have mentioned that there is a problem with priority boarding; I personally do not find this to be the case. I often has to approach the desk to ask if there is priority boarding at which point I am swiftly taken through the queue, gate security and onto the aircraft.

The annoyance is those people who use the 'loos' about 30 minutes before landing and stay in them for 10 minutes applying make up etc. Ooooh that makes me sooooooo mad.
Yep. That'd be me. Flying makes you look like a badgers arse no matter how many lotions and potions you apply.
You've got to look good for the customs officers now haven't you?

Having gone a bit grey (well very grey to be honest), when I grew a beard I was very disturbed to find that those hairs had gone grey too. When I opened my mouth, well it looked just like what you are describing! So I shaved it off again. Now I just look like a bald badger's bum.
