When looking on the VS website ( not having flown before) at the listings for V-Port, they show various movies and tv shows. Is that all there is? I have heard supposedly how great this system is and the variety on it but quite a number of airlines (Emirates, SIA,, Malaysian) also have AVOD (for example SIA has 235 cd's, 60 movies and 106 tv shows). If I am reading this right, there are only about 6 or 7 movies and about 15 channels of tv (3 or 4 in a language other than english). Further - for example on "Little Britain" on one of the comedy channels - it says "the second series" - does that mean that one episode is from the second series or the entire second series is available on the V=Port system.
Sorry - just trying to clear this up as this is one of the factors (amongst many) I am looking at when trying to work out who to fly. :)):D

Nope. On V-port there is a lot more than they list from upto the minute movies, repete TV shows to Golden oldie movies. I am not sure of the exact number of movies but it must be in excess of 30.

have a look here for further info on the ent systems

The list VS put on their web site is just a generic list which covers the entire fleet and all the IFE's (Nova, Arcadia, Odyssey and V:Port)

As Sailor says, there's a lot more on V:Port - really too much to put on a list.

You'll find a full list of V:Port films in the sticky at the top of this Forum Section - link here.

It's updated whenever anyone flies and can be bothered to make a note of the movies - currently it has December but nobody has updated it for January yet.

In general, V:Port has both the outbound and inbound movies, plus a handful from the previous two or three months. Whether or not you get "classic" movies seems to be a little hit and miss. When V:Port was first rolled out we did get movies like Goodfellas.

I say bring back the Stella Artois "Film Club" selections.
