You're saying you get access to the CH if op-upped? This contradicts the recent experience of rikntracy and my own experience. Is this a new policy?

Yeah, I have to agree with Jason's confusion here - Op Up'd passengers do not get access to the CH unless a gold card holder (and then, the Au rules apply - so guest as well).

Sorry guys, my poor use of English again. If you are Op-Upped to Upper, then you do NOT get access to the CH.
