Ok used the search function and didn't find a whole lot.

We used National express lasttime we were in country to transfer between Heathrow and Gatwick, almost fell over when I saw the price,so on our next trip I was looking at booking a "limo" transfer from LHR-LGW.

Found this company that seems to have great prices for the transfer..ie less than National Express for two people.

Has anyone heard or used them or any better ideas?

Can't really answer your question, but I have to say I am impressed with that price, lot less messing around too.

Can I ask you if National Express are any good as I need to do a LHR -LGW transfer a week on Wednesday - At £18 it seems expensive but as it's only me, that's seems to be the cheapest option !

Well I did it last summer from LGW to LHR and it was fine - just under an hour - but like the rest I thought it was a bit pricey. In fact I got such a shock that I forgot to ask if Aer John was entitled to half fare [:0]

Well when we did it in Sept it was 36 pounds each ! and just checking the nation express website im getting a quote of 36 pounds each again, even at 18 pounds each im going with the car,lot more comfortable way to get round to LGW than sitting on a coach.

I have the same problem, I fly to LAS from LGW and then return to LHR from SFO. So I'm driving up to LHR and taking the Heathrow Xpress over to Paddington then a short cab to Victoria and Gatwick Xpress to Gatwick. Not sure if it will be quick but it should be less than £40, and I can use my first class vouchers!

Apart from that its the National Express but this take 90 minutes!

Last April/May, we flew UC LGW-MCO and back MIA-LHR. Weell - we had to use rivals.

Made sure that one of the tickets was a D and so used limos to/from the airport.

Driving from the airport (even just from LHR to Newbury) after a transatlantic overninght is a no-no. Research has shown that driving when this tired is as bad as drink driving

If I had to to LHR - LGW, I would ring up Aunty May and get her to give me a lift. Don't know if this helps or not Jetwet?

True, and they all have relations in Scotland IIRC;). Funny thing with Jetwet is that he almost seems British at times.....

The funny thing about this is that I can get to Heathrow from Exeter on NE- a journey of some 4 hours- cheaper than it costs to go on NE from LHR to LGW a journey of an hour!!!!

We used Nation x last time as well,no problems at all, just for the price they now charge we may as well get a "limo" around, for a little more we get more comfort, drop of right at the hotel etc.

Hi,

I did this transfer last year. I totally recomend [email protected]
http://www.limo.co.uk. Very professional service, driver there waiting, lovely clean car & a bottle of water for both of us. Total cost last sept £59.

I shall be using them again this year as I am flying out from Gatwick and back in to Heathrow.
