A couple of questions if I may.

We have been fortunate to book many Reward seats, both over the telephone and on-line, but miles have almost always come from my account.

In a few days, when they are (hopefully) released I need to book 2xG’s from DXB to LHR using miles from each of us. I need to book early as these DXB seats seem to get lost in the ether at the moment! Can I do this in one transaction, or do I need to book my seat, then log-in as my husband and book his? I do have authority recorded with FC to use his account incidentally. Or, alternatively, is there much hanging around on the telephone at 6am, if I do it that way? Are they even there then?

Advice please. Many thanks.

If you wanted to do this online using miles from your respective accounts, you would have to make two different transactions.

If you do it over the phone, you can do it in one transaction and the agent can make the respective mileage deductions.

I’d personally phone, and at 6am it shouldn’t be a wait!

Good luck :)

Hi
I would call as well but you may find that that the rewards haven't been released at 6 am and may need to call back again. Just watch out for the 7 am shift change.

good luck

Remember if you are going to book over the phone to get hubby to call VS to make you an authorised user of his account (if you’re not already). Best to do that in advance rather than at the time you try and book.

Good Luck. I have been trying for weeks to find any G seats on that route. Even 355 days in advance, they aren’t showing on the website

VS flights don’t go on sale at T-355, it’s 330 days. And there’s never been a guarantee that reward seats are available the moment a flight goes on sale. Just keep checking, they’ll appear at some point.
