Load check for VS41 and a wifi question!

Hello,

Would someone kindly be able to do a load check for VS41 to SFO on Friday (11th May)?

I've noticed that this flight has recently changed to an A340 from a 787 (which I am very disappointed about!) is there any chance this will be changed back to a 787 last minute?

Lastly, is it possible to log in and out of wifi on different devices on VS? E.g. if I connect on my phone can I then connect on my laptop later on in the flight?

Anything can happen on the day but I’d say it’s very, very unlikely that it’ll change back now. VS, in common with many airlines, has had to ground some of its Dreamliners because of faults with the Rolls Royce engines so older aircraft are being leased or brought back from retirement to cover.

Don’t know about the WiFi, sorry. (And be aware there may not even BE WiFi if it’s one of the old A340s that’s been brought back from the graveyard)

Yes, can you use the WiFi on multiple devices. When setting up the service for the very first time, it will ask you to set-up a username and password. You then then simply log in to the system on the devices using those details.

Whilst in the JFK CH last night they announced those travelling on the VS138 (operated by G-VRED last night) did not have Wi-Fi capability.

Not exactly your question I know but thought I would mention it.

Thanks for sending this over David - so am I right in thinking this looks like a fairly empty flight?

Not empty, as the Z and K buckets aren’t showing 9s. But certainly not full.

Anything can change on the day though. Seemingly quiet UC & PE cabins can leave full if there are a lot of staff travelling on standby, for example.
