I am booked in UC in December to Orlando already [^], two of my friends are trying to get on the same flight but in PE, unfortunately after ringing VA today there is no availability in PE due to a 'group booking'. There is availability in UC but unfortunately they cannot stretch the purse strings. Is it worth their keep trying VA to see if any spaces crop up later?

Thanks.

is this flight from MAN or from LGW?

It its LGW (and you have a flexible ticket) could you look at swapping to the other flight?
(as there are usually more than one per day in December)

Sorry, I should made that clearer, I'm flying from Gatwick. Unfortunately my ticket isn't flexible so I'm stuck on that flight. They both could get on the earlier flight in PE but we just thought it would good to be on the same flight, we couldn't believe that it was full already, just our luck.

It's always worth ringing later to see if that group has confirmed. Sometimes though, if a group is big enough, it WILL fill that cabin.

Sorry it does not seem to have worked out.

Have you tried the VS website and checking availability that way? sometimes saves multiple phonecalls when it is busy in the Contact Centre.

The website shows 1 available space, but that's it. I think they will just have to book the earlier flight rather than chance it until nearer the time.

see if their premium ticket is changable....

if the price is right for changes, and the seat come available on your later flight, then you may be able to travel together after all!

also, they do not travel all that far apart.... if you meet at the airport, you could bring one in each as a guest to the LGW clubhouse!
